**Meet Pattycake: The Precious Pup Ready for a Loving Home** Pattycake’s story began on the streets of Kern County, where she was found by animal control officers covered in fleas and ticks. Without their intervention, she would not have survived much longer. Sadly, she was taken to a high-kill shelter where, despite her charm, she was overlooked for adoption or rescue. When we met Pattycake and her brother Carmel, we knew we had to bring them home. Pattycake is a unique and beautiful puppy, with a mix that we suspect includes Great Pyrenees and shepherd. Her most striking feature is her two different colored eyes, which add to her captivating charm. But perhaps the most ridiculously cute thing about her is her slightly long tongue that often peeks out of her mouth, giving her a silly and sweet expression. Pattycake is incredibly affectionate and so happy to be out of the shelter. She thrives on love and attention and is always ready for cuddles. Despite her rough start, she’s doing remarkably well in her foster home. At about three months old, she’s already showing great potential. We are training her, and she’s making excellent progress. While she’s new to a leash, she’s getting more accustomed to it every day. Given her current size, we expect Pattycake to grow into a very large dog, perfect for a family who can provide her with the space and love she needs.
