Paul was rescued from the streets of Youngstown by a good samaritan on February 27th. He had been seen in the area of McCartney Rd on the East Side. This is a common dumping ground for dogs. There was a cable tie out found attached to the guardrail on the street. This may have been how he was left there or sadly it could have been from another dog that had been abandoned at some point. He was also dragging a leash that had been tied to something and he had chewed himself free. Paul is one of the countless dogs that have been neglected and abandoned in our city. He needs a hero. Paul is a pit bull mix Approx 1 1/2 yrs old Dog friendly Kids and cats unknown He needs reassurance that everything will be ok. Every day he gains more confidence and is really starting to come out of his shell. Lately he has been acting like a happy playful pup! He plays and happily skips and jumps when we let him out of his kennel. He walks well on a leash and loves that one on one time. He was a stray so we do not have a history on him. ?? ????With the amount of dogs in our care we are not always able to read comments under our posts.
