Because we are all volunteers, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus only considers approved applicants to meet our orphans in our foster homes. Pauly is a 2-year-old blue Doberman and he weighs about 60 pounds – and is very food motivated! He seems to like other dogs but has no concept of what “gentle” means so if he were to meet another dog, they would have to understand his play style and a slow introduction would be best. He is a sharp listener and comes when called and is ready to work. He has not been cat tested.
