Peabody

Hello! My name is Peabody, but my people call me P for short. I have some nicknames I enjoy being called and those are P-roni, P, Sweet P, and Mr. P. My foster family says that I am a big ol’ couch potato. I will always enjoy a nice long nap with my people, or a snooze in my crate with my favorite blanket and pillow. I am a 6- to 7-year-old pitty/lab mix. I weigh around 80 pounds, I am neutered, up to date on shots, crate and house trained. My foster parents work 8.5-hour days, and I am happy to be crated while you are gone. I go into my crate when told but I do insist on a treat! I do well outside of the crate, but I do feel most comfortable in my safe place. I will sleep most of the time, with the occasional nib nib session. I am a good boy, and listen to come, sit, stay, and I like to give you my paw sometimes without you even asking! I like to hold hands and give snuggles. I am a good boy in the house, I like to dig through my toy basket and pick out some toys to chew for a little, then I like to take a nap. When I am outside, I get so excited and just feel the need to do zoomies. A good zoomie session is a mandatory rule during potty time. I can be picky when it comes to food, I do not beg, probably because I won’t eat most of that stuff! But the things I do like, I really like. I am very gentle when I take my treats and do a little dance after I get it. My foster mom can always tell you what my favorite things are when you take me home!! I am a big fan of drinking water, and I will drink a ton! I like being in water and I enjoy walking/running in the rain. I am good during car rides; I sit and look out the window and then I will lay down and take a nap until we have arrived. I am always being told how much of a good boy I am when I don’t bark at the delivery people (unlike my foster bros)!! I enjoy being home and looking out the window watching all the people and animals pass by. I have had a friend come and take me for runs, I do a good job when we go for runs and get pup cups. She is my best friend and I enjoy our runs. I would love to find someone who would like to run with me! I would love to find someone who will give me endless amounts of love and in return, I will give you all the love I have. I am looking for someone who will take me on adventures. I will make someone a great co-caption, sitting next to you always. He enjoys meeting new people and going to places. I live with two other dogs, and we get along. I get very playful with the puppy, and we run around. I like to sleep with my person, but I also like sleeping in my crate with the door open. My foster mom gave me a nib nib pillow and I like having that around (I’m big on nibs). I am a very sweet and loving boy who just wants love, hugs, and kisses and treatos. My foster family says that I deserve the best home because I am the best boy. I am told I would do best with a big yard (for all my zoomie sess), someone who will be home often or will take me with them, and some siblings with slow introductions. Everyone tells me I will find my furever family soon and that we will live a very loving life together. I am currently being fostered in Roseville CA, by Amy and Ben through Martina Animal Rescue.
