IF NOT CLAIMED BY OWNER AVAILABLE THURSDAY, MAY 30 PROOF OF OWNERSHIP REQUIRED Peanut is thought to be around a year old. Peanut was found on Walnut Street (Walnut Hill area), Glouster. He currently weighs 55 pounds. Very nice dog! Peanut is just a young guy--estimated at around a year old. Like many dogs his age, he is bouncy, friendly, and goofy, but the stress of the shelter is starting to weigh on him. He is scared and confused by all of the noise and has begun to show some reactivity to other dogs. Outside in the play yards though, Peanut lets loose and can often be observed throwing toys in the air for himself. He also loves to interact with his handler and we're positive he will be a model student if given the chance at training. You see, Peanut is exceptionally smart and will thrive with a routine and a chance to live the good life. Peanut does not deserve to grow up in the shelter--please help him find a great home! Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption. Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 5/24/24).
