When Pearl was found she was emaciated and had awful wounds on her face, she required and received intensive care when she arrived to the Tulsa SPCA. We do not know for sure how she got the wounds but know she does not like a lot of barking.
Both here and in foster care she has been loving and affectionate towards people and while in foster care she did well with the grandchildren of varying ages. Pearl would have to be the only dog in the home with a loving and patient family that would not hold her flaws against her. She detests cats. While in foster care she did fine in a crate.
