Meet Peely! This long and lanky 2 year old girl is ready to steal your heart! Despite her long legs and looks though, she's under 20 pounds! When we rescued Peely from the shelter, she was extremely underweight and suffering from a pretty bad respiratory infection, but with a lot of love and care, she quickly started to turn around. Despite her condition, Peely was a lover and cuddle bug from the very start. She's just learning about what toys are and what it means to have fun. Sometimes, she'll get so excited that she will just burst into zoomies. But most of all, Peely wants to be your little lap dog. Even if she has the option to play, she will often choose to come snuggle against you, lean into your pets, and thank you with many kisses. She was also kenneled with several other dogs around her size when she was in the shelter and got along with them great.
