I was a Partners for Pets dog 6 years ago and found a very loving home, but sadly, my owner died and now I need a new home. Even though I am probably about 8 or 9 years old, I am healthy and happy and enjoy playing with other dogs and going for walks. I do very well on a leash, if I do say so myself!
I am fascinated by cats and chasing them is a very big temptation, so I probably shouldn’t be around cats unless they are very used to dogs and can let me know that getting too personal is not an option!
I do have a cloudy spot on one eye that the vet said should be watched to be sure it doesn’t get bigger, but it is likely just scar tissue from an old injury and isn’t a problem. I seem to be able to see just fine out of either eye.
I love to cuddle and be cuddled and like to sleep on the floor beside your bed at night. I bark when I think you should know about something that is going on, but I am not a big barker and am quiet most of the time. If you want a cuddly older gal to keep you company and go for walks with you, I am the perfect candidate!
