Hi, I'm Penelope. I'm still here. I'm pretty shy when you first meet me. Sometimes I get afraid, and growl because I don't know you. But don't worry, once I do get to know you, I'll love you more than you'll ever know. The humans say that I'm very loyal once we've met a few times. I've grown up here, so I don't know any other life, other than when I was begging on the street when I was a just a kid. I love playing with other boy dogs!! My best friend is Inigo the husky. We chase each other and wrestle all the time. I miss him though, because he got hurt and can't be outside for awhile. So, it's been pretty boring. I really would love a home with another boy dog. Girl dogs don't like me. And that's okay. I don't like them either. The humans here say that I'm really smart, and could learn lots from my new parents if they taught me. I know that I act scared and growl when I meet new people, but I really do want someone of my own to love. Will you be that person??
