Introducing, Penny!
Penny is 10 years old and 13 lbs. She was sadly surrendered to a rural shelter when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. Being alone for the first time in 10 years was scary for this sweet girl.
We sent Penny to a wonderful foster home, and she flourished. She loves being around her person and gets excited to go for walks. Don't let Penny's age deter you, she still has a lot of spunk left in her. Penny is housebroken and good with other dogs. She even did great at the vet!
Her foster mom says: "Once Penny knows you, she is a bundle of joy! She is particularly animated on our walks and loves a good sniff of any and everything. Her energy on walks betrays her years; she's sprightly and doesn't tire."
