Penny

Penny is an 8 year old #goldendoodle that was surrendered to us. She was as about to be sent to the shelter unless we decided to take her in. Whats sad is that she was separated from her brother that she has known since birth. Why? The family chose the new small dog over her. Whats odd is that Penny lived with this small dog for 3 years and one day, Penny snapped at her, wounding her pretty bad. We think she was jealous of the small dog for taking her place. We have learned that She is very affectionate and loving. She listens well. Shes fine with kids and people and other medium to large size dogs. Although she is fostered with a cat, this cat knows to keep her distance. So No cats. Even though she has one incident with a small dog, its best that she does not live with one: She is located in Bakersfield, CA. Shes had her bloodwork, fully vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Penny is very chill. She will play fetch with you but she does not have puppy energy. All she wants is your love and attention. A person that works from home or a retired person would be best. Penny is TALL!! She is 70lbs. Please do not apply for her if you expect a small dog.
