Penny came to us when she was tossed from her owner's vehicle in a nearby park. She was of course, terrified, and very thin. We immediately send her to an awesome foster's home where she has really blossomed into a wonderful dog. She loves the resident dogs and of course all the people and attention she can get. She's crate trained and working hard to be house trained. She's so sweet and very quiet. We can't imagine why someone would toss out this wonderful pup, but we hope to be able to find her a happily ever after! Penny is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
