Pepe

Pepe is an absolute joy to foster. She is a love bug who loves to snuggle, but is happy to be on her own as well. She enjoys lap time, but will sleep on her doggie bed if your lap isn't available. She sleeps in her kennel at night (she tucks herself in under a blankie and it's adorable). She prefers to sleep in and might be a bit grumpy if you try to wake her before 8 a.m. She is a bit on guard and might offer a low growl at anyone or anything she is unsure about. So far she doesn't seem that keen on taking walks and wants to go home after a house or two. She does occasionally utilize potty pads inside the house, but has gotten very good at going potty in the fenced yard. She doesn't beg for food and doesn't expect table scraps. So far we haven't found a toy that interests her. She does OK with another dog in the house, but it would probably be better if the other dog is more submissive. She is good with cats. Pepe is a 6 year old chihuahua mix. She is a smidge overweight at 12 pounds.
