Peppa

Meet the sassy and sweet, Peppa. Peppa is a 7 year old frenchie. She must be the only pet in the home. She's been with a foster for the last few months and here is what she has to say. "Here are things that we have noticed/experienced while fostering this cute little lady. She can sleep as late as you let her. She usually will go to sleep around 10. She will get up and wants to go sit outside where she can get some sun. You just have to encourage her to go potty in the morning. Just keep an eye on her since she likes to eat her poop. We usually discourage her not to eat it by saying gross. Or quickly go pick it up so she won’t eat it. She will come in and I will give her meds. She takes half a pill of Prozac in a pill pocket. I give her 1 zesty paws urinary supplement. She likes to go for walks in the morning. We usually do 1 mile around the neighborhood. I take treats for after potty stops and to encourage walking. We carry a water bottle for quick water stops. If she sees a dog or cat we try to get her attention or carry her to try and distract her. She will make a high pitch cry and wants to go fight with them. She loves to roll in the dirt. So we clean her down at the end of the day since she loves to sleep on the bed with you. I give her a bath atleast once a week or every 2 weeks. Depending on how, dirty she is. She loves to get brushed. I will brush her teeth, put paw ointment to keep her pads soft, and clean her nose and add snout ointment when I clean her down. Clean her ears since she gets so dirty when she rolls outside. She usually eats later in the day. I mix 1 tablespoon of the wet food with 1/2 cup of kibbles. 2x a day. After dinner we walk around the block or just before sun down when it cools down. She loves to drink water so I always try and keep her bowls full. I will put a bowl outside with fresh water during the day since she loves to be outside. Someone always has to be home when she is inside. She will usually take naps during the day. She will bark and run towards the tv if she sees a dog or cat on tv. She hates the liberty commercials. She will be in a deep sleep and will wake up and run barking at the tv if she hears those commercials. She loves to go on car rides and will just relax. We haven’t really seen her play with a lot of toys. She likes chew dental toys. She loves belly rubs and just having your attention and love at all times. She is a very cute and sweet little lady but can be stubborn at times. She does know some commands sit, lay down, and does a partial roll over" If you would foster-to-adopt Peppa please reach out.
