Pepper URGENT Foster Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Pepper. Pepper is an 8-9yr old female poodle/terrier mix weighing roughly 50lbs. She urgently needs a temporary place to call home. Sadly, Pepper and her mom are losing their current home. Mom is doing all she can to find a new place to live that will allow her to take Pepper back, but it has proven to be quite the challenge. She is essentially going to be without a home herself in the near future. This is breaking mom’s heart. Pepper was badly abused as a puppy so when her mom adopted her, she was afraid of everything. It took a while for her to trust again, but now she and mom are the best of buddies. Pepper loves people and gets along with most dogs but should be in a home with no children under 15yrs. She is not a fan of felines. Her mom describes her as a friendly, fun-loving, self -sufficient, easy dog. Pepper can be stubborn but is very well behaved. She takes thyroid meds but is otherwise healthy. Pepper is spayed and UTD on all. Let’s keep Pepper out of the shelter.
