Pepper was surrendered to us after lost the use of her back legs due to an impacted vertebrae disc. She is handicapped but we don’t think she knows it (or doesn’t want to believe it at least!) She doesn’t let anything slow her down or get in the way of her living her best life.
Pepper LOVES kids, she is extremely gentle, even with newborns! She is also great with dogs after a proper slow intro! She loves stuffies and carries them with her whenever she can.
Pepper has gone through physical therapy, and has mastered her wheelchair! She still needs her bladder expressed but we can walk you through that - it’s pretty easy! Pepper needs a home with minimal steps (even though she does allow humans to carry her short and stout self)
Pepper needs a family to step up for her for foster or foster-to-adopt! Her current family is going through household changes and sadly needs to say goodbye to Pepper. And our shelter is NO place for a dog in a wheelchair to go. PLEASE spread the word and apply now to help change peppers life if you can!
