Our veterinary partner estimates that Pepper is 3 years old at the time of intake in October 2023. Pepper is good with adults and other dogs. This little guy was brought into rescue in a neglected and abused condition. His fur was incredibly matted and soaked in urine. We don't know how long Pepper suffered in that painful condition, but we're only looking forward to Pepper's happy future. Pepper has been shaved down and all of the mats removed. He is a sweet boy but understandably shaken and scared at what his life has been and unsure of what the future holds for him. He's now pain free and on the path to recovery, but we recommend a quiet home without small children as Pepper needs some space that small children cannot give him.
