My Story

One year old Pete was found as a stray with a broken leg in May. He had surgery soon after to correct his injury and has recovered well with the help of professional physical therapy and the love of his foster family. Now nearly fully recovered, lucky Pete is now in training with Ridgeside K9 Central MD for a 3 week board and train program. Pete will learn basic obedience as well as many specific skills to help him be his best self! Before training, Pete lived with two other dogs and enjoyed playing with them. His is very affectionate and followed the foster mom around like a loyal shadow. He is goofy and funny. He is crate trained but prefers to sleep in bed with his humans. He loves his chew toys and generally is not destructive. Pete is building up his stamina and strength again. Even so he is not likely to be a high energy dog and won't need a huge amount of exercise.
