Petey is a sweet 1 yr. 6 month old male neutered Shepherd/Lab mix who is at MCHS because his former owner's schedule didn't allow him to spend enough time with Petey and he felt it wasn't fair to Petey to be left. Petey needs a home where he can get the needs, love and attention he longs for. Petey is a good boy who is housebroken, crate-trained and loves car rides. He isn't fond of folks near his food dish while he is eating, so he will be placed in a home without kids. Petey also loves other dogs and do well in a multiple dog household. Petey has had obedience training and knows the commands sit, stay, down and slow. His favorite game is ball and he adores playing, walks, hikes and being with his humans.
