Petey

Hi, my name is Petey and I want to be your cuddle companion. Truly, my favorite activity is to cuddle up with someone on a soft surface and take a snooze. I am super quiet. In fact, for as long as I've been with K-9 Angels, no one has heard me make a peep. I am also generally shy and timid, especially in new situations, so a calm home environment with patience and love would be best to help grow my confidence. I am dog, cat and kid friendly if they are calm, as active kiddos can make me nervous. Really, I don't have a mean bone in my body, I'm just a shy guy that needs a calm and quiet home. As far as going on walks, I'm getting better heeling on a leash, but sometimes I get spooked by cars or unexpected noises and pull. I just need some practice. I do enjoy the occasional zoomie in the yard and toys are fun too. I am completely potty trained and crate trained, making me a pretty easy house companion. Overall, I'm a very sweet and calm dog hoping to find the perfect person/family eager to love and support me as I grow in confidence and learn how to enjoy life to its fullest. Petey is a Male Border Collie/Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 7/1/2023 and weighs 38.3 lbs.
