Hi there, I'm Petey II!
I've been on quite a journey, and I'm ready to find my forever home where I can be loved and cherished. I was found in Bedias, TX, and I've had a few homes since then, but I'm hoping to find the one that's just right.
I have to admit, I've got a bit of a complicated past - I was heartworm positive, but I've finished my treatment and I'm feeling great! I'm also a bit particular about my people; I love women and tend to bond strongly with them. I can be a bit protective of my person's space, but it's only because I love them so much!
I'm a fun-loving guy who loves to play with toys, go for walks, and snuggle up close. I'm potty trained, kennel trained, and fantastic on leash - I promise to be a great companion!
I'm looking for a home where I can be the center of attention (or at least share it with a small dog friend). No cats, please - they're just not my thing.
