PETEY is listed as a two-year-old American Bulldog mix male dog. He arrived at the shelter at the end of May 2024 and has been paired successfully with another very active dog who likes to get in his face when they are vying for attention from staff. PETEY puts him in his place easily, which makes for happy kennel mates. PETEY was neutered on Thursday, August 1, 2024 Thanksgiving to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter. That means you can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt PETEY. Even better, consider taking a large dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
