Petunia aka TUNA

Congratulations, you just found the sweetest dog on Petfinder. Tuna was rescued from a high kill shelter. She had mange at the time and her condition meant instant death for her. Fortunately we were able to treat the mange and the subsequent staph infection, and yeast infection. Unfortunately her hair in those areas has not grown back. Because of this we keep her on an allergy medication and feed her quality dog food in hopes that the hair will eventually come in. Until then she is still the cutest and sweetest dog on the planet. Tuna loves to sit next to you on the couch and have her ears rubbed. She doesn't mind cats or other dogs although she prefers her doggie friends be a little calmer too. She is completely crate trained and likes to fetch tennis balls and play tug of war. We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. Our adoption fee goes towards covering age appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test, rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter!
