Hi there! My name is Phoenix and boy do I have a story. When I was found I had a lot of hair missing and was in rough shape. That’s what happens when you have mange and flea dermatitis and no one helps you. Thank goodness someone helped me. There is a before picture in the photo array so you can see how much I have improved. I have been living the good life for the last few months and am ready to be someone’s forever couch potato. I am a big guy but still have puppy tendencies. I am approximately two years old and weigh 75 pounds. My foster mom did a DNA test and found out I am a German Shepherd/Husky mix. Everyone I meet thinks I’m 100% handsome though. I love children, but can be a little rambunctious. It would probably best with eight or older. I am a total goofball and love to play with balls and toys that squeak. I can be silly and love to steal a shoe or two, but I am just trying to play. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash. I would do well with an active family and do best with a daily walk. I love to go on car rides! Maybe some road trips are in my future. I would even take some beach vacations. I tend to chase small animals, so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I do well with other dogs and would love to have a fur brother or sister to play with. I love everyone I meet…no warm up period needed. I am a big happy, goofy guy that loves chest rubs and snuggles.
