Piper was rescued from a field, abandoned, cold, wet and starving along with another dog. She is now healthy, but missing her forever family.
Piper is very affectionate and love belly rubs. Piper is very gentle. She loves to be picked up and held. Piper would lay on the couch all day as long as her person is right there with her. She is an old soul with a calm energy.
Piper is slowly adapting to life off the streets and has come a long way in the past month. Her family will need to ease her into other situations with dogs. Though she has come a long way, she sometimes goes into alpha mode signaling to the other dogs to 'step off'. With proper training and nurturing, she will become one of the pack, and that will go away.
