My Story

Meet Piper, a 3-year-old, 48-pound gentle and affectionate dog who was sadly abandoned at the shelter. Despite her past, Piper is now fully vaccinated, spayed, and has tested negative for heartworm. She has also received treatment for Lyme disease. Piper is a social butterfly, getting along with most dogs and delighting in playful runs with them. While she may not show much interest in toys, she is always eager for long walks and loves playing in the water. Piper's well-behaved nature extends to her interactions with children at the shelter, where she has displayed gentleness and good manners. On top of all this, she walks well on a leash, knows a few commands, and takes treats with great care. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application at https://www.guernseycountydogshelter.com/ Completed adoption application does not guarantee adoption approval!!
