Piper Marie

Piper Marie came to us from Puerto Rico with a volunteer 'Flight Angel'. She was born about February 7, 2024 and will likely weigh in the 25 - 30 lb. direction when full grown. She came to us as a 'mixed breed' and judging by her appearance we are going in the general 'Terrier' (maybe Min. Pin. that downsized her???) direction as our best guess. Several of the dogs we've taken from Puerto Rico have had DNA tests done by their forever family and they usually come back with a dozen or so likely breeds so 'mixed' is an appropriate term! UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: Piper is good on a leash, good in the car, needs a little more time on housetraining. Great with kids and we imagine she is good with cats. She is people friendly and will run towards you. Very playful, good in her crate The Adoption Fee for this dog is $550.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
