Pippa

Pippa's DOB: 6/18/2021 Pippa's Weight: 13# She is vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, microchipped with lifetime registration to the rescue, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Pippa is suspected to be a westie/yorkie mix. She resembles both breeds. Her littermate that was given away before I got there to pick them up, was all white and looked like a westie. She came from a neglectful situation living in her own filth. Pippa is a little shy with new people. But once she feels comfortable, she is a big lovey and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is super happy and kissie and loves to run and play with all of the other fosters and snuggle on the sofa equally. Sandy is her best buddy and ideally, they would be adopted together. But I know that that isn't likely. Pippa needs a backyard to potty as she's not used to being on leash. She hangs out in the living room, sometimes on the sofa, sometimes under the sofa, sometimes perched at the top of the sofa with her head on my shoulder. She usually sleeps in her crate at night. So, she's good in the crate, outside of the crate, and she's good in the car. I keep her hair long and brush her out weekly. She will run and jump on the chair and then onto the patio table outside when it's time to be brushed out. She loves it! If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
