Pixie

Pixie was recently pulled from our local animal control agency with her sister, Sophie. They get along very well with each other so can be adopted together. There is a discounted adoption fee for the pair :-) With a guesstimated birthday in Jan. 2024, Pixie weighed 26 lbs. at her vet exam July 12, 2024. Pixie is in private foster care and can been seen by scheduling a private Meet & Greet appointment. She is scheduled for spay surgery on Aug. 12th. ********** Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed. For adult dogs, our adoption fee covers a standard canine vaccine, a rabies vaccine, and deworming if recommended by our vet. Adult dogs will also have current heartworm test. For puppies over the age of 14 weeks, our adoption fee covers the first 3 puppy vaccines. If the puppy is still in our care at 16 weeks, we will also provide the rabies vaccine. A vet reference is required only if you are adopting an intact dog over 6 months of age (or the age our attending veterinarian recommends for spay/neuter) to ensure future altering of the dog. A refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for intact dogs/puppies. Open Adoption Events for Foster Dogs are held on most Saturdays at Tractor Supply in Lenoir from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open Adoption Events for Bunch Anderson Shelter Dogs are held every Saturday from noon-4:00 p.m. Please check our FB page for changes in Adoption Event Schedules.
