Plato

Plato is a 10 year old Australian cattle dog (red) and Golden Retriever mixed breed,He needs a good home because the owners are moving. The owners got Plato from shelter when he was 4 weeks old and stayed with them until now. He is in good health, current on all of his shots, heart worm medicine and fee medicine. Plato has very active mind, he is very playful and still very active dog. He obeys basic commands and will walk by your side when on leash. He loves to play frisbie, go for a walks, hikes or a trips in the car. He is inside/outside dog. He lived with another dog until 3 years ago, when the other dog died of cancer. Plato still misses him since they grew up together. He is weary around strangers and prefers to be left alone until he warms up to them. He is good with strange dogs, but will not play with them until he gets to know them better. He barks if somebody comes to the house, but will stop if he knows them or you say NO. He would be a good match for somebody who needs a guard/herding dog or needs a companion and can provide enough exercise and love.
