Please HELP Willard (FL)!!!

FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED! Willard is currently located in Tampa. Willard is an absolute stunner of a Redbone that needs a foster home! This 2 year old boy had a very rough start in life and came to ABTCR underweight and scared. Willard quickly learned the comforts of home taking up quick residence on the couch, but he remains afraid of men; he is looking for a foster and forever home in an all-female household. Now in good weight at 53 lbs, he is a fantastic walking buddy, continuing to practice his leash manners and discover all there is to offer out in the great big world. He doesn't even pull until he's in sight of his house where he knows a snack is on the other side of the door. Food-motivated doesn't even begin to describe his appreciation for regular meals, praise and learning. He is working on cratetraining as well, and loves having his safe space. He also rides in the car like a dream, curls up and goes right to sleep. This boy is about as silly as they come, and the coonhound puppy antics are still present with hopes of an audience that will laugh and play with him. He has come a long way, but will need continued focus and training around confidence and trust in his new environment. Willard would also appreciate a home without young children as quick feet and loud noises make him nervous. With proper introduction and patience, Willard does well with other dogs but would also excel very well as an only pet. NO cats, please. Whomever he imprints on will be his pride and joy and he'll seek you out for love always; he has the full potential to be someone's heart dog.
