Pluto

Pluto is a Plott Hound/Great Dane mix, around 12 weeks old, weighs around 25 pounds already and will be big. But he is very sweet, affectionate and incredibly smart. In three days as a foster dog, he already comes and sits on command. He is gentle for his size and is good with all ages and genders. He is pen trained and uses his pee pads, so housebreaking will be a snap. He has beautiful leash manners and gets along well with his foster brother as well as other neighborhood animals he meets on walks. He is learning cats and will be fine in a household with them. He will be adoptable as soon as he is neutered, and is current on all the rest of his shots and medical care. Because of this animal's uncertain history, we assume he or she is not housebroken unless we have stated otherwise. However, most dogs are trainable and eager to please. ARF will happily advise prospective owners about crate training and the latest housebreaking tools.

We set up at our new location on 50 Railroad Ave., Sylva, NC every Saturday from 1-3 PM (sometimes earlier or later if the weather is nice). You can also view animals by making an appointment with the foster parent. Get approximate directions from your location.
