Point Guard

Meet Point Guard! Point Guard came to us from San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside on July 15th. He is 13 years old and weighs 11.75 lbs. He is so sweet and loving, and he gives kisses! A volunteer took Point Guard on a special outing to a cafe and a park, where they met up with other volunteers and dogs. After their time together, she shared: "Point Guard is ready to be everyone's new best friend. He is supposedly 13 years old, but he has young guy energy. He hadn't met me before today and he didn't care, he was ready for any adventure that I planned. Point Guard loved getting a pup cup and inhaled it in record time. I think he was a bit bored while we stayed in the AC at the cafe and ate a sandwich, he whined a little and barked when new people would come into the cafe, but overall he did really well. I was able to redirect him with snacks and he even sat on the third treat and sat each time after that. He's a smart cookie! Point Guard did great at the park and loved climbing onto everyone's laps for scratches. Adoptable Swifty and Goalie were with us on the outing, too. He has a little hitch in his trot on the back left but it doesn't slow him down at all! I bet he would love to go on walks. Point Guard is a fun little guy and would probably love an active family to take him out for adventures. He also loves to lay in your lap, so I bet he would love snuggles on the couch, too!"
