POITIER is a 7 year old Terrier mix taken in as a stray on 1/14/22. As you can tell by his gaze, Poitier takes life pretty seriously, but there's also a softer, sweeter side that may be invisible to some. He's smart, a good walker and knows sit, but as an independent fella, Poitier will work a treat out of you for the favor of complying with your desires. In a way he's manipulative, but he also has a desire to learn and please. Alert and in tune with his environment, Poitier is also attentive to those he's with. My favorite photo of him is the one where he's sitting with his back to the camera, his gaze focused on who he's with, instead of where he is. Poitier's adoption fee is $75. He's altered, current on shots, has been wormed, treated with monthly heart worm and flea preventive and is microchipped.
