Popeye

Popeye doesn’t eat spinach but he will be your sailor man! His foster family reports: Popeye may be the silliest, sweetest boy we’ve ever met. He loves every human and dog, especially humans that cuddle and dogs that will play with him! He's never met any kids but our guess is he would be great with tiny humans as well. He is estimated to be about 4-5 years old and ~65lbs. Pop has medium energy - he loves walks and fetch almost as much as he loves to cuddle. Popeye was found on the streets of South Texas after being neglected all of his life. Despite a hard past of neglect and an eye surgery, Popeye holds no grudges and is all healed. His spirit remains gentle and trusting of everyone he meets! He is potty trained and GREAT on the leash. He loves to hop like a bunny through grass when he's excited and will try to "hug" you with his front paw. He sleeps soundly in the crate all night but loves to be invited on the couch or bed. Pop is so excited about his second chance at life and is hoping to find a loving forever home. He would love a home with this playful pup or being spoiled as your one and only!
