Poppie Breed: Chihuahua/Corgi? mix Gender: Female, spayed DOB: 11-15-2023 Weight: Expected adult weight of 8-10 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $400 Poppie is a bit of a wild and crazy girl! She has a couple buddies in her foster home and they love to play! She's curious, brave, and adventurous! She can be wide open and she can settle down for snuggles. She's learning her basic commands and doing very well! Poppie is looking for an active family that will take her on outings and continue to help her explore her world! She is treat motivated and eager to please! So far her fosters have loved having her with them! Good w/ Other Dogs- Yes Good w/ Cats- Yes Energy Level- Moderate to high Children- Teens Grooming Needs- Low Walks on Leash- Yes Special Needs- No Knows basic commands- Trying! That's your job! All HEART dogs have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, distemper, parvo, adenovirus, and hepatitis. All dogs over the age of six months are tested for heartworms and, if they test positive, have either been treated or provided alternative slow-kill treatment. Dogs are provided monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Dogs are also provided additional medical care, as needed. This care may include amputations, wound repair, treatment for skin disorders, dental care, treatment for infection and other medical needs.
