My name is Poppy San and I'm a tiny little boy. In the Japanese language "San" is a title of respect added to a name. They call me Poppy for short. The vet says I'm 11 months old. If I could talk I'd tell you how I found my way into rescue. I keep hearing people use the word "neglect" and boy is that the truth. I'm all shaved which is good because now the matts and fleas are gone. So is most of my hair but that'll grow back.
They did leave a nice long tassel at the end of my tail.
I'm a little on the skinny side weighing only 10 pounds but am working on gaining a couple. I'm also working on my housetraining. I sleep through the night in a large cage and don't mind at all.
Socially I'm sweet as they come and like everyone & everything I see. Even cats are no problem to me. I need a home with a fenced yard because I like to sniff around and have fun. I love to play especially with other small dogs.
