In Greek mythology, Poseidon presided over the sea, so it may seem like a bit of an odd name for a dog living smack in the middle of the dry desert. Lets not get hung up on the details though- lets just appreciate this handsome pooch in all his glory!! Poseidon lived in one home his whole life before being surrendered to the shelter. He was housebroken in that home, well- behaved on walks, likes car rides, enjoys going on hikes, and loves to be near his humans. Poseidon is looking for a home without cats or small dogs and will likely do best in a home without young kiddos. He has been independent and easygoing when meeting other similarly- sized dogs in playgroup at the shelter and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit.
