Prada and Chanel (Bonded Pair)

Meet the dynamic BONDED duo Prada and Chanel. They are a 2-3 yr old bonded pair. Prada is the leader of the two. She is a white Shih Tzu mix weighing about 5 pounds. Her bestie is petite Chanel who has the markings of a dapple Dachshund with just enough Chihuahua to make her look like a true miniature. They both have tons of energy and love to play wrestle with one another. Even with their strong bond they both also display independent behavior at times - they don't always choose nap or sleep together. Prada is the energizer bunny who recharges after brief rest periods. Chanel would prefer longer naps but when she is done for the nights she is done. They are playing quite well with their two older Jack Russell mix foster brothers. They can be a bit food/treat aggressive but their brothers have shown a lot of patience with them. They both take some time to warm up to people. Prada is the barker of the two Chanel will follow her lead but they both are protective. Prada was first to warm up to her foster mom and seek out affection. Chanel is much more reserved. She has a quiet personality compared with her sister. They both love running around in their foster's large backyard. They keep up with their larger foster brothers chasing down birds, lizards etc. they are not fearful despite their size. They are doing well with potty training and walk relatively well on a double leash. They have snapped at family members who have come to the house but they became accustomed to all adults that live in the house within about a week. So they will need time to decompress. I believe they would do great in a home with a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to run and absolutely NO KIDS. They get along with other small/medium dogs but do initiate barking so if there is already a heavy barker they will raise it a few more octaves. With patience/training and a regimented sleep/eat/walk schedule they will prove to be a loyal pair for the right home. They really are an adorable pair. Both have been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
