Pretty Girl came to our rescue from a large hoarding case where she was not used to strangers. She gets along fine with other dogs. She seems to respond best around women and will be protective of them. She can tolerate men, but she will take longer to trust them. She needs someone who will understand she needs time to get to know you and then she will trust you. She is learning now to walk well on a leash and we would prefer a home with a fully-fenced yard to keep her safe and to help her learn her boundaries. Pretty Girl is under two years old, is very smart, and has a lot of energy, so she would be a great dog for agility or as a running partner. She has so much potential to turn into a devoted companion who will be patient with her and understand her background, and teach her that humans can give her lots of love.
