Princess

Princess is a 2 y/o Staffordshire Terrier mix. 1 yr ago she was an elusive stray in the streets of Crosby, Texas. Since then she has been with a foster learning how to be a good family dog.. Sadly, due to being neglected prior to coming to her current foster, Princess recently tested positive for Heartworms but it’s a very mild case and she is currently undergoing treatment. After treatment and with continued monthly Heartworm prevention, she should test negative within the next 6-9 months. Princess is fully grown, topping the scale at just under 30lbs, so she’s a very petite Staffie mix. She is full of energy, spunk, and LOVE. One of the most important things to know about Princess, is that SHE LOVES CHILDREN!!! She is a world class snuggler and loves to cuddle and lay on her humans chest. She also enjoys playing with her non-human buddies, and she is perfectly content going in the backyard and "catching some rays" all by herself. Princess is kennel trained, potty trained, can follow commands, such as, ("sit", "lay ","out"), and she is eager to please her human. She ADORES kids and dogs of all sizes. She would do best in a home with a fur brother or sister to play with. Princess is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay, microchip, deworming , Heartworm treatment & test, transport and medical requirements in preparation for transport.
