Voted “Most Popular” at the park with both dogs and humans! Hi friends, I’m Princess Poppy! I’m big and goofy, yet pretty gentle. I’m currently about a year old and 40 pounds, but still gaining weight! I get along with other dogs of all sizes and LOVE to play, but I’m also happy snuggling on the couch while we binge watch TV together. I am extremely adaptable to the energy level of the humans and dogs around me. I’m house trained, crate trained, sleep through the night and can sit on command! I walk well on a leash and love to stop and smell the flowers. I can get a bit curious when bored, but all it takes is a firm “no” and I’ll stop whatever I’m doing. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as Pet Finder, and are no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
