Princess Zena

Questions about our adoption process can generally be answered by reviewing the Adoption FAQ's. Here we have our sweet Princess Zena. Princess Zena is a 4 month old (DOB 3/26/24) female mixed breed that looks to be Border Collie/ Pitbull mix on moms side and dad looks to be a Shepherd/Malamute mix. She weighs 46 lbs right now and is still with the family that took on mom and a litter of nine. Zena is UTD on her shots, dewormed and had Bordetella shot. She is not spayed yet, but will be prior to her adoption. Princess Zena is great with other dogs and loves to play. We do not know about cats as there is no cats in the home. She has been with kids ages 3 and 9 yrs old and does great with them and is calm. She is house trained and mostly goes outside through the doggie door or will whine at the door. Zena has been crated trained and did well, but is not crated regularly. She is both an inside dog and loves to go outside too. She is contained in a fully chain link fenced yard that is 4 ft tall. Zena is working on leash training, knows SIT and LAY DOWN. Zena will dig and jump up, along with her siblings. Puppy training classes would be good for her. She loves to snuggle and is allowed on the furniture. She is very friendly with people she meets. She eats dry Kirkland puppy food and is fed together with her siblings. Princess Zena is looking for a loving forever home with someone who has the love, time and patience to continue her training so that she can be the best she can be. An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator. If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
