Priscilla

Priscilla is a favorite amongst the staff and volunteers at Naws. Just look at her! She is a collector of plushies and loves to play, even if it’s tossing a toy to herself. Priscilla enjoys short walks and then wants to get right back to snuggling. Even though she has the most gentle loving soul, Priscilla has been let down by too many people in her life making her a bit apprehensive upon meeting strangers. But once she warms up to you, you’ll never know a greater love! We think she would do best in an adult only home or with older children who could respect her space. We also think she would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she could soak up all the love, but would do well with a calmer dog with a slow introduction. The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
