Pryde

Pryde is a 3-year-old female Lhasa Apso with a heart full of love. While initially shy, she becomes incredibly affectionate once she feels comfortable, offering gentle kisses and enjoying all the hugs and cuddles she can get. Pryde is gentle; she even allows her foster family to check her teeth without any fuss. Though she doesn't know how to do stairs well and needs to be carried if steps are involved, she's learning and getting better at walking on a leash. She enjoys her walks, although she can be a bit all over the place. Pryde is calm around other animals and doesn't bark much, even at doorbells or visitors. She prefers sleeping on the floor, often near the stove, where she sometimes seems fascinated by her reflection. Pryde isn't potty trained yet and needs some work in that area, but she can hold it through the night and loves praise when she goes outside. She has a burst of energy in the morning, especially after eating, but is otherwise calm and follows her foster family around. She's not much into toys, but she enjoys chewing on tags and loves the sound of crunchy materials. Pryde would do best with someone who can give her lots of attention, as she hates being alone and prefers having company. She gets along great with kids and loves all the attention and affection they give. Pryde is a gentle, loving dog who just needs a little help with potty training, stairs, and leash manners. She's a perfect companion, especially for those who love to spoil their pets with love and attention. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
