Meet Pumba! This special guy came to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center from a suspected cruelty situation where he was living with many other dogs. After some time with us, he discovered that he adored people just as much as he loves his canine friends! Pumba has a very endearing warthog smile that adds to his already considerable charm. He is ready to have no worries for the rest of his days, and to embrace a problem-free philosophy with the family of his dreams! Big fan of: Walks! Other dogs! Cuddling! Pumba is a young pup with lots of energy and he really enjoys staying active with his friends. He loves to go for walks, going on fun car rides and playing in water. Taking a trip somewhere that has water he can splash around in is the absolute best! Pumba is also convinced that he's a lapdog, and he will cuddle with his favorite people for as long as he can. Working on: His confidence when meeting new people. Pumba can be shy at first, and he might take some time getting to know someone before he is comfortable with them. Once you've gained his trust, get ready for his affectionate side! Pumba is a master cuddler and enjoys being around his people friends whenever possible. Dream home: One with patient and loving adopters! Pumba is looking for a family who will take him on walks, give him lots of scratches and set up playdates with other dog buddies. Pumba plays well with dogs of all sizes, and for a guy with a shy streak, he makes fast friends with humans, too! Pumba would be thrilled to share a home with a canine sibling, but he would also thrive as the only dog.
