My Story

Pumbaa!!! Sex: MALE Age: 2-Yrs Old GOOD with dogs, GOOD with kids (5 and older), UNKNOWN with cats ADOPTION FEE: $550 www.unbreakabull.com/adopt Though the Disney movie & song suggest I have strong farts, my foster family doesn’t agree. They say I'm a young, goofy, playful boy & I don’t realize how big and strong I can be. I love water and I’m a decent swimmer. I do well in the car and I thoroughly enjoy my daily walks. I’m potty trained and am quite content laying on the deck or on the cool kitchen floor chewing on my toys. I am kennel trained and have learned to walk right in when told to “kennel up”. I sleep in the kennel every night & periodically throughout the day and it is my comfy/safe spot. I was found as a stray in Minneapolis so my foster family doesn’t know a ton about my background. I’m a big boy and on the chunky side. I am food motivated and like my treats and toys. I don’t mind sharing, waiting, dropping, and giving up food or toys…I am still diligently working on my impulse control. I know sit, down, kennel up, and load up (to get in the truck). I’ve been working on wait and stay. A few notes from my foster mom: Pumbaa is a young, big, and playful boy that is eager to please and takes correction well. He can get stimulated which then can lead to him getting a bit jumpy & mouthy. He does great in his kennel, in the car, and loves the water. Loud noises (fireworks, garbage trucks, etc.) do not cause him physical distress of any sort. He notices them and happily goes on about doing whatever he’s doing. He is potty trained and has never had an accident in our home. Pumbaa sleeps quietly in his kennel, once we’ve all settled for the night. During our bedtime routine, he does minimally whine from his kennel in hopes he can come sleep in a room with one of us until lights are out. Pumbaa gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He is also thrilled to see and receive pets from humans of all sizes. Pumbaa seems slightly interested in small critters (bunnies, squirrels, etc.) and loses interest quickly. If Pumbaa sounds like he might be a fit for your home, take a few minutes to browse through the pictures of him enjoying some of his favorite things and videos of him in various playgroups!! Hakuna Matata (means no worry for the rest of your days)! Pumbaa
