That's a picture of Rain, on a cold winter rainy day, tethered with a chain, living outdoors 24/7 with no house, no cover, no shelter; literally starving & infested with intestinal worms. Today she dances when she sees a recognizable human! She still is very timid of new humans. She was terrified upon rescue. Was SO thirsty & hungry, shivering from the cold & shivering from being held or attended by humans. She still expects you will hit her unexpectedly, will jump /startle easily. Yet never a growl.
