My Story

Thank you for choosing to adopt or foster and aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!  **Adoption Interest Form REQUIRED via our website Rarerescue.org** Meet Rainy! Are you looking for a stunning companion to add some sunshine to your days? Look no further, because Rainy is here to steal your heart! This beautiful Rottweiler is around 2 years old, weighing 74 lbs with a strong, short, and stocky build that exudes both strength and sweetness. Rainy is not just a pretty face - she also has a heart of gold. She gets along well with other dogs and is known for her happy-go-lucky demeanor that can brighten up any room. Rescued from a breeding and neglectful situation, Rainy is now ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless tail wags. Rainy is closely bonded with her brother Oso, and they make an inseparable duo. With Rainy by your side, you'll never feel alone.  To ensure Rainy's safety and happiness, she requires a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy some outdoor playtime. If you are ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, please complete an adoption application at rarerescue.org and give Rainy the loving forever home she truly deserves. Let's make Rainy's dreams come true - together, we can write a new story of love, trust, and companionship. ?? #AdoptDontShop ?? We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason.  All of our Adoptables are: Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions. PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption. Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property. ***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
