My Story

Raisin was found as a stray on the streets of Texas. This dog is a riot. He thinks the humans are beneath him and he does not understand why he would need to participate in such lowly activities like leash training. Raisin is extremely dramatic over the whole deal but he has begun to understand that a nice, peaceful walk is a good thing. He is rewarded for at least trying by visiting the sunporch during lunch where the humans dole out tasty snacks and give him lots of compliments. However, when it is time to leave the lunchroom he scurries away from his caregiver in order to avoid the dreaded leash once again. We get a big kick out of this funny little dog who is just so adorable. Raisin loves other dogs and becomes very playful with them and although he does not wear his heart on his sleeve, he adores the humans as well. Visit Raisin at www.hua.org!
